BOCATA BOY

Situation: I was in the last quarter of the Miami Ad School in Madrid, my economic situation was not the best, and finding a job was hard due to the fact that I came from Colombia.

How can I make money to pay my bills and let the creative directors know about my work as a creative?

Observation: A lot of agency creative people - especially in Spain - don't have enough time to get something for lunch and they always eat the same food that is close to the office.
Using something that moves me - cooking & advertising - I came up with this...

Idea: Bocata Boy. The first special and tasteful Bocata (Sandwich) with my portfolio attached to it.
First, I partnered with one of the most famous hipster Madrid bakeries "Panic" and other local businesses - connecting more people to my big idea-
Then I started to make my own business campaign, with flyers, social media content, gifs, and fun. People fell in love with it and started asking for Bocata Boy's sandwiches.

ADC*E

My project was selected for ADC*Europe event "high potentials" to be presented to the most important creative directors & head hunters of all the continent.

Here are some taglines that I used for advertising El Sol Festival:

MY OWN ADS

With outrageous Headlines flyers, I took the risk of crashing one of the most famous IberoAmerica Festival "El Sol" in order to meet some of my top favorite creative directors and the most importantly they got to know me.
